Orchestre Philharmonique et Choeur des Mélomanes to Present Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony

The Orchestre Philharmonique et Choeur des Mélomanes is set to present Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony on Nov. 4, 2023 at the Maison symphonique in Montreal.

The concert will feature soloists soprano Sydney Baedke, mezzo-soprano Simona Genga, tenor John Mac Master, and baritone Brett Polegato. They will sing alongside 100 choristers, the 60 musicians from the orchestra, and conductor Francis Choinière.

The concert will also include Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Ballade for Orchestra Op. 33, and Brahms’ choral work Schicksalslied (Song of Destiny).

The Orchestre Philharmonique et Choeur des Mélomanes (OPCM) is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 in Montreal and dedicated to inspiring a new generation of music lovers.
