The Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano has announced its 2023-24 Season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

The inaugural concert will feature Mahler’s “Das Lied von der Erde” and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. Tuomas Katajala and Georg Nigl are the soloists and Andrey Boreyko conducts.

Performance Date: Sept. 10, 2023

Kolja Blacher conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 and Mahler/Schönberg’s “Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen.”

Performance Date: Oct. 22, 2023

Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 will feature the Orchestra Sinfonica and Coro Sinfonico di Milano. Andrey Boreyko conducts.

Performance Date: Oct. 25, 2023

Manfred Honeck and Matthias Goerne perform Mahler’s “Des Knaben Wunderhorn” and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3.

Performance Date: Oct. 27, 2023

Claus Peter Flor conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 3

Sophie Harmsen performs Mahler’s “Kindertotenlieder” under Markus Stenz. The evening also includes Mahler’s Symphony No. 4.

Claus Peter Flor conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 8.

Performance Date: Nov. 8, 2023

Mahler’s “Rückert-Lieder” and Adagio from Symphony No. 10 will be conducted by Omer Meir Wellber.

Justina Gringyte and Robert Treviño join forces for Ravel’s “Shéhérazade” and Berlioz’s “Symphonie fantastique.”

Performance Date: Dec. 1 & 3, 2023

Händel’s “Messiah” will be conducted by Ruben Jais.

Performance Date: Dec. 16, 2023

Claus Peter Flor conducts Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.

Ruben Jais conducts Bach’s Weihnachtsoratorium.

Performance Date: Jan. 6, 2024

The orchestra will give an Easter concert.

Puccini’s “Suor Angelica” will be conducted by Vincenzo Milletarì.

The Coro di Voci Bianche and Coro I Giovani di Milano perform a concert.

Patrick Fournillier conducts Beethoven’s  Symphony No.5 and Chorale Fantasy.
