OperaVision Presents ‘Sternenhoch’ From National Theatre Prague

OperaVision will showcase “Sternenhoch” live from the National Theatre Prague on Sept. 27, 2019 at 7 p.m. local time.

The production will feature Sergey Kostov in the title role, Vanda Šípová as Helga, Luděk Vele as Helga’s father, Jiří Hájek as Helga’s lover, and Tereza Marečková as Kuhmist.

Petr Kofroň conducts a production directed by Michal Dočekal.

The stream kicks off at 7 p.m. local time. That’s around 1 p.m. Eastern time and 10 a.m. Pacific time for the start time. It will be available for repeat viewings on Opera Vision until March 26, 2020.

The streaming service is free through OperaVision, which, per its official website, is a project “supported by the European Union’s Creative Europe program, OperaVision builds on the success of The Opera Platform, with more contributing opera companies from more countries, under the editorial supervision of Opera Europa, the European association of opera companies and festivals.
