OperaVision Presents Garsington Opera’s ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’

OperaVision will showcase Mozart’s and Da Ponte’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” from Garsington Opera starting on March 27, 2020.

The opera stars Joshua Bloom, Jennifer France, Stephen Richardson, Janis Kelly, Marta Fontanals-Simmons, Timothy Robinson, Duncan Rock, Kirsten MacKinnon, Andrew Tipple, Alun Rhys-Jenkins, Alison Rose, Hollye-Anne Bangham, and Hazel McBain.

Douglas Boyd conducts the opera in a production by John Cox.

The stream kicks off at 7 p.m. CET. That’s around 2 p.m. Eastern time and 11 a.m. Pacific time for the start time. It will be available for repeat viewings on Opera Vision until September 25, 2020.

The streaming service is free through OperaVision, which, per its official website, is a project “supported by the European Union’s Creative Europe program, OperaVision builds on the success of The Opera Platform, with more contributing opera companies from more countries, under the editorial supervision of Opera Europa, the European association of opera companies and festivals.
