OperaVision Live Streams ‘Der Ferne Klang’ From Royal Swedish Opera

OperaVision will livestream “Der Ferne Klang” live from the Royal Swedish Opera on Oct. 19, 2019.

The performance will showcase Agneta Eichenholz, Daniel Johansson, Johan Rydh, Miriam Treichl, Andreas Lundmark, Jeremy Carpenter, Lars Arvidson, Vivianne Holmberg, Marie-Louise Granström, Madeleine Barringer, Ola Eliasson, and Klas Hedlund.

Stefan Blunier conducts a production directed by Christof Loy.

OperaWire’s review stated that, “All-in-all, this was a very successful and satisfying performance, both musically and dramatically.”

The stream kicks off at 6 p.m. local time. That’s around 12 p.m. Eastern time and 9 a.m. Pacific time for the start time. It will be available for repeat viewings on Opera Vision until April 14 2020.
