OperaVision Cancels ‘Missa in tempore belli’ Stream

By Francisco Salazar

OperaVision has canceled the stream of Haydn’s “Missa in tempore belli” from the Dutch National Opera.

The streaming platform announced the news that the cancelation was for reasons “beyond our control” and therefore would not go ahead with the stream as planned tonight at 7:00.

As a result, the Dutch National Opera’s new production of “Der Zwerg” will be available on OperaVision until Dec. 18, 2021.

The Dutch National Opera’s “Missa in tempore belli” was performed between Sept. 6 and 21, 2021 and was conducted by Lorenzo Viotti. Barbora Horáková directed the production that starred Janai Brugger, Polly Leech, Mingjie Lei, and Johannes Kammler.

In October OperaVision is set to stream “Jenůfa” from the Royal Opera House, “Iolanta” from the Royal Swedish Opera, and “Carmen” from the New National Opera Tokyo.
