OperaVision Announces April Streams

OperaVision has announced its April streaming program.

The month will begin with a presentation of “The Flying Dutchman” from the Klaipėda State Music Theatre. The production is conceived by Dalius Abaris and Sigita Šimkūnaitė and conducted by Modestas Pitrenas.

Streaming Date: April 2, 2021

The Opéra de Lille presents a new production of “Pelléas et Mélisande” with François-Xavier Roth and his ensemble Les Siècles. The new production is directed by Daniel Jeanneteau.

Streaming Date: April 9, 2021

The Polish National Ballet will showcase a recent production of “Romeo and Juliet” choreographed by Krzysztof Pastor.

Streaming Date: April 16, 2021

“Romeo und Julia,” Boris Blacher’s chamber opera from 1943 was recorded for OperaVision on March 19 at Deutsche Oper am Rhein and it will be streamed in a production by Manuel Schmidt.

Streaming Date: April 17, 2021

The final stream of the month will be a gala in honor of Evgeny Kolobov the conductor who founded the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre Moscow 30 years ago. The gala will be streamed live.
