OperaStreaming Unveils Fall 2021 Slate

OperaStreaming has announced its fall 2021 programming.

Things kicked off with a presentation of Haydn’s “L’isola Disabitata” from the Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna. The production starred Giuseppina Bridelli, Anna Maria Sarra, Kristian Adam, and Christian Senn. Nicola Valentini conducted.

Streaming Date: Oct. 23 & 24, 2021 

Next up is a performance of Monteverdi’s “Orfeo” from Ravenna starring Giovanni Sala, Vittoria Magnarello, Alice Grassi, Massimo Altieri, and Luca Cervoni, among others. Ottavio Dantone conducts.

Streaming Dates: Nov. 6 & 7, 2021

In December, audiences will be able to check out performances of “CrossOpera” from the Teatro Comunale di Bologna. Castmates include Jasmina Mitrušić, Luigi Cinque, Sandro Cappalletto, Herman Schneider, Valentin Ruckebier, Idil Karabulut, Florian Wugk, and Dalila Djenic, among others.

Streaming Dates: Dec. 3 & 5, 2021 

Next up is “Maria de Bueno Aires” from the Teatro Comunale in Ferrara with Martina Belli, Ruben Peloni, and Daniel Bonilla-Torres.

Streaming Dates: Dec. 18 & 19, 2021 

The fall streaming slate draws to a close with Vivaldi’s “Farnace” from the Teatro Comunale, Ferrara. The cast includes Paola Gardina, Chaira Brunello, Francesca Lombardi, Elena Biscuola, and Leonardo Cortellazzi.

Streaming Dates: Dec. 30 & 31, 2021
