Operantics has announced its event “Opera in the Gallery,” a Frundraiser gala to help raise support for its 2019 mainstage production. The event is slated for Oct. 15, 2018 and will feature performances from a number of young artists and famed Australian singer Taryn Fiebig. The event is slated to take place at the Mosman Art Gallery.

In addition to performances of famous arias and other musical numbers, the event will feature a raffle and silent auction prizes. The company will also announce its mainstage production for 2019, which per a press release, will be “their most ambitious undertaking yet.”

“Operantics has been privileged to provide valuable opportunities to emerging local artists since our inception,” noted Artistic Director, Katie Miller-Crispe, in the press release. “We’re looking forward to a bright future, continuing to contribute to Australia’s cultural landscape. We’re so excited to be partnering with Taryn Fiebig for this wonderful showcase of young Australian artists.”

The company’s press release also noted that there will be other upcoming events to complement the fundraising effort from the gala.
