Opera Vermont has announced its 2027 season.

The season opens with Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” at Highland Center for the Arts.

Performance Date: Feb. 12 & 13, 2027

Opera Vermont will introduce “Opera Passport,” a new project designed to make opera even more accessible by presenting multiple 10-minute operas in communities around the state. Each stop offers a “stamp” in the journey. Opera Passport will culminate in a final performance at the BARN OPERA House in Brandon, Vermont.

Opera Vermont will also present the third production in its cycle of William Grant Still’s operas with “Minette Fontaine.”

Performance Date: Nov. 12 & 13, 2027

To close the year, the company will present Gian Carlo Menotti’s “Amahl and the Night Visitors” at the Brandon Congregational Church in Brandon, Vermont.

Performance Date: December 2027

The 2027 season will also includes an American Songbook concert, celebrating the richness of American vocal music and the stories that have shaped our cultural imagination.
