
Opera Theatre of Saint Louis Announces 2027 Season
By Francisco SalazarOpera Theatre of Saint Louis (OTSL) has announced its 2027 Festival Season, running between May 22 and June 27, 2027, featuring four mainstage productions.
Michael Ellis Ingram leads Stephen Sondheim’s “A Little Night Music” will open the festival.

Bruno Ravella directs Verdi’s “La Traviata” with Daniela Candillari conducting.
Performance Dates: May 29-June 27, 2027
Michael Shell directs Rossini’s “La Cenerentola” with Gemma New conducting.
Performance Dates: June 5-27, 2027
Tobias Picker and Aryeh Lev Stollman’s “Safe Haven” will make its world premiere. Patricia Racette directs a new production by Benjamin Manis.
Performance Dates: June 12-26, 2027
“Our Songs” will be a free community concert.
Performance Date: June 3, 2027
The company will present the popular annual concert “Center Stage” which shines a spotlight on Opera Theatre’s Richard Gaddes Festival Artist and Gerdine Young Artist Programs, as these rising opera stars perform iconic melodies from opera’s greatest hits and cherished rarities, accompanied onstage by the Grammy Award-winning St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Patricia Racette and Yvette Loynaz curate the program with Daniela Candillari conducting.
