Opera Tampa Announces Cast for ‘Les Contes d’Hoffmann’

Opera Tampa has announced the cast for its upcoming production of “Les Contes d’Hoffmann.”

For the Offenbach opera, tenor Won Whi Choi will make his Opera Tampa debut as the title role alongside bass-baritone Zachary Altman who will also make his Opera Tampa debut as the four villains Lindorf, Coppélius, Miracle, and Dapertutto.

The cast will also include Susan Hellman Spatafora in the roles of Giulietta and Antonia and Hein Jung as Olympia.

Jorge Parodi will be returning as guest Conductor following his acclaimed conducting in Opera Tampa’s productions of “The Barber of Seville,” “The Marriage of Figaro,” Anton Coppola’s “Lady Swanwhite” and “The Pearl Fishers.”

“Les Contes d’Hoffmann” will be performed two times on Feb 11 and 13, 2022 at Ferguson Hall.
