Tenor Jordan Weatherston Pitts will be taking part in “France’s Got Talent” Season 19 under his drag persona Creatine Price.

Pitts, whose most recent roles include the cover of Romeo in Gounod’s “Romeo et Juliette” with the Hawaii Opera Theatre, a cover of The Magician in Menotti’s “The Consul” with Opera Saratoga, Don Ottavio in “Don Giovanni,” Achille in “La Belle Helène,” and Rinuccio in “Gianni Schicchi,” took to social media and said, “Thrilled to announce! I can finally share that I am on France’s Got Talent (La France a un Incroyable Talent) Season 19! Incroyable talent off ! This has been a whirlwind of a ride and I want to thank every single person who helped me make it through to this experience. I have a new-found respect and appreciation for every drag queen who goes on TV.”

In an emotional performance, Price performed “Io Son L’umile Ancella” and received a standing ovation from the judges.

Price made his principal artist debut to critical acclaim as the drag queen Renata in Iain Bell and Mark Campbell’s world premiere of “Stonewall” with the New York City Opera and continues an active performance schedule of romantic and lyric repertoire.
