Opera Saratoga announces its 2026 Festival Season taking place during its 65th anniversary.

Ana Karneža performs in Weill, Brecht, and Hauptmann’s “Happy End.” Robert Ainsley serves as musical director with Mary Birnbaum directing.

Performance Dates: May 28 & 30, 2026

“The Elixir of Love” by Donizetti and Romani stars the company’s young artist and a community chorus. John Giampietro directs and Nicolò Sbuelz conduts.

Performance Dates: June 21-27, 2026

Up next is “My Fair Lady” by Lerner and Loewe. Young artists makes up the cast. Mary Birnbaum directs and Julia Eichten serves as choreographer. Adam Nielsen is the musical director.

Performance Dates: June 20-28, 2026

Closing out the festival is a workshop version of “DRIFT,” by Alyssa Weinberg and J. Mae Barizo. Caili Quan directs. Christopher Allen conducts the Fourth Wall Ensemble.
