Opera San José Announces New Board Members

Opera San José has announced two new board members to its Board of Directors.

The new board members include Pravesh Mehra of Saratoga and Cathy Lazarus of Los Altos.

Mehra is a managing partner and global leader of the Business & Professional Services Practice in DHR International’s San Francisco and New York Offices. He has also held leadership positions with Ernst & Young, Capgemini, Heidrick & Struggles, and Russell Reynolds Associates.

Lazarus has worked as Management Analyst, Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation, and Risk Management Director with Santa Clara County. She has also worked as Public Services Director for the City of Mountain View.

“I’m confident that the dynamic energy, fresh ideas, and professional relationships that both Mr. Mehra and Ms. Lazarus bring to Opera San José’s Board of Directors will help strengthen our capabilities and allow us to thrive in the months and years ahead,” said Opera San José General Director Khori Dastoor in a press release.

Additionally, the company announced that Laurie Warner and Frank Fiscalini, two recent retirees from the Board, will serve as Co-Chairs for the newly formed Emeritus Committee.
