Singers sharing birthdays is quite coming. Seeing three singers of the same exact voice type with similar repertoire sharing birthday? Rare. Seeing two of those very baritones, often considered among the greatest ever, born on the same exact day? Rarer still.

And yet here we are. Ettore Bastianini and Cornell MacNeil were born on the same day, and Pablo Elvira, another baritone, shares a birthday with those titans. All three men enjoyed exemplary careers. So here is a quiz to dive into how their paths as opera stars crossed.

David holds a Masters in Media Management from Fordham University. During his time at Fordham, he studied abroad at the Jagiellonian University in Poland. He also holds a dual bachelor’s from Hofstra University in Film Production and Journalism.
