Opera Queensland has announced its 2023 season.

Verdi’s “Macbeth“ is set to be Conducted by Umberto Clerici and directed by Laura Hansford. Jose Carbo, Anna-Louise Cole, and Rosario La Spina star.

Samantha Clarke Anna Dowsley, Jeremy Kleeman, Brenton Spiteri, Leanne Kenneally, and Shaun Brown star in Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” with Zoe Zeniodi conducting and Patrick Nolan directing.

Performance Dates: August 10-26, 2023

Davide Livermore’s production of Verdi’s “Aida” will star Natalie Aroyan, Elena Gabouri, Diego Torre, Michael Honeyman, and Alexander Vinogradov. Lorenzo Passerini conducts.

Performance Dates: Dec. 6-20, 2023

The company will tour “Lady Sings the Maroons” featuring Jess Hitchcock, Irena Lysiuk and Marcus Corowa.

Festival of Outback Opera is set to feature Vanessa Scammell conducting soloists Emma Mathews, Miljana Nikolic, Artur Carlos Barcenas, and Jose Carbo.
