Opera Orlando to Host ‘The Mozart Dinner’

By David Salazar

Opera Orlando is set to honor chairs Margie and Chuck Steinmetz on April 23, 2022.

The event, entitled “The Mozart Dinner,” will take place at the Steinmetz Hall at Dr. Philips Center for the Performing Arts.

Attendees will see the performance of arias and duets from such Mozart favorites as “The Magic Flute,” “Così fan tutte,” “Don Giovanni,” and “The Marriage of Figaro.”

“This event will be the culinary and musical event of the year and the first of its kind with Steinmetz Hall in its flattened floor, ballroom configuration,” stated Roseann Harrington, the Chief of Staff for Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings and the committee chair for the event, in an official press statement. “Not to mention the set for Opera Orlando’s production of ‘Rigoletto,’ which opens the night before as the first opera ever presented in Steinmetz Hall, will still be up so guests of The Mozart Dinner can get pictures on the set. This is truly a once in a lifetime event and opportunity.”
