Opera Orlando will partner with 26 Health to showcase Laura Kaminsky, Kimberly Reed, and Mark Campbell’s “As One.”

In anticipation of the performances of the opera scheduled for May 21 and 23, 2021 the company will present “Together as One,” a community panel led by local activist and Opera Orland board member Chevalier Lovett with the aim of connecting audience members with Central Florida’s local transgender community. Lovett will be joined by Alexandra Enyart, Angelica Sanchez, Michelle Kurtiak, Heather Wilke, and Dr. David Baker Hargrove. The panel is set to take place on May 13, 2021 at Harriett’s Orlando Ballet Centre.

“As One” will be conducted by Enyart and directed by Jessica Hanna. The opera will star Michael Kelly and Elise Quagliata.

Opera Orlando recently completed a run of performances of “Carmen” in a new production set in Hait.
