
Opera on Tap to Team up With Chabot Space & Science Center for ‘Xixoxa’s Spaceship’

The opera by Victoria Young is set 500 years in the future and tells the story of the titular Earthborn woman who, after losing her family, boards the Nebula X-3, which finds itself on a doomed mission at the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. On her journey, she finds a new family with the crew.
The performance is set to take place at the Chabot Planetarium on March 22 at 7 p.m. local time.
The work features six singers, four live musicians, and electronic fixed media.
