Opera Neo announces its Opera Festival and Young Artist Training Program for 2025.

Revere Taylor takes on the title role in Vivaldi’s “Motezuma.” Julianna Smith, Emily Helenbrook, Mala Weissberg, Megan Callahan, and Amalia Crevani make up the cast. Covers are Casey Germain, Xochitl Hernandez, Amanda Simms, Giselle Bautista, Jenna Clark, and Teresa Tucci.

The annual “Aria Gala” features the current class of young artist. Each perform a signature aria.

Up next is a recital dedicated to the works of Reynaldo Hahn and his contemporaries. Performers are Emily Amesquita, Amanda Simms, Kevin Jasaitis, Chris Alfonso, Henry Griffin, Stephanie Gubin, Giselle Bautista, and Mala Weissberg.

Performance Dates: July 11 & 13, 2025

Haydn’s “Armida” is performed in collaboration with The Hungarian State Opera. Emily Helenbrook and Botond Pál lead the cast, along with covers Tina O’Malley and Xiaojie Ji. Katherine Malone, Norbert Balázs, and Vivienne Ortan round out the cast. András Almási-Tóth directs and Peter Kozma conducts.

Performance Dates: July 18 & 19, 2025

Closing the season is Donizetti’s “The Elixir of Love.” Alexandra Henderson, Matteo Adams, Andrew Payne, Abigail Baggott, Tyrese Byrd, Wesley Kelley, and Phoebe Chee are among the cast. Peter Kozma serves as director and conductor.
