Opéra National de Paris to Present ‘Street Scenes’

The Opéra National de Paris has announced that it will present Fragments from Weill’s “Street Scenes” at the MC93 – Maison de la Culture de Seine-Saint-Denis Bobigny.

The production, which opens on April 19 and runs through the 27, will be directed by Ted Huffman and conducted by Yshaani Perinpanayagem. Audiences will hear artists in residence at the Academie alongside the Orchestre Ostinato.

Soloists include Francesco Lucil, Sima Ouahman, Seray Pinar, Robson Broad, Luis Felipe Sousa, Cornelia Oncioiu, Teddy Chawa, Adrien Mathonat, Margarita Polonskaya, Teona Todua, Ihor Mostovoi, Nicholas Brière, Jurgis Margiris Paberzis, Jeremy Weiss, Kevin Punnackal, Lisa Chaïb-Auriol, Lindsay Atherton, Sofiia Anisimova, Noah Diabate, and Marc-David Sopi.

The work runs for five total performances.

There will be a retransmission of the production available to watch at a later date on Paris Opera Play.
