Opéra National de Paris to Present ‘Concert des artists de l’Académie’

The Opéra National de Paris will present “Concert des artists de l’Académie” at the Palais Garnier on Jan. 20, 2022.

The program will be dedicated to the operas of Mozart.

Kicking off the program will be Kiup Lee, Alexander Ivanov, Niall Anderson in a trio from “Così fan tutte” followed by Fernando Escalona taking on music from Mitridate. Marine Chagnon will perform “Parto, parto…” from “La Clemenza di Tito” before Martina Russomanno presents “Padre, Germani, addio” from “Idomeneo.”

Performing a selection from “Le Nozze di Figaro” will be Ilanah Lobel-Torres and Alejandro Baliñas Vieites. Afterward, Martine Russomanno, Marine Chagnon, and Niall Anderson will take the stage for “Soave sia il vento” from “Così fan tutte” with Kseniia Proshina then presenting an aria from “Zaide.” Aaron Pendleton and Ilanah Lobel-Torres will take turns with arias from “Die Zauberflöte” before the concert ends with selections from “Don Giovanni” with Lise Nougier, Yiorgo Ioannou, Kseniia Proshina, Martina Russomanno, Kiup Lee, Niall Anderson, Alejandra Baliñas Vieites, and Aaron Pendleton.

Vello Pähn will conduct the Orchestre de l’Opéra National de Paris.
