Opéra National de Paris to Exhibit Massive Jewelry & Gems from Past Productions

The Opéra National de Paris and the Bibliothèque nationale de France will be showcasing a lot of its major gems and jewelry at the Palais Garnier from Nov. 28, 2024 through March 28, 2025.

There will be over 70 pieces on display from past opera and ballet productions from the mid-19th century through present day. The exposition was curated by dramaturg Isabelle Stibbe, and the Bibliothèque’s Jérôme Fronty.

Audiences will get a chance to see valuables from past productions of “Faust,” “Le Grand Mogol,” “Shéhérazade,” “Lohengrin,” “Die Walküre,” “Carmen,” “L’Africaine,” “Aida,” “Salammbô,” “Cendrillon,” “Bacchus,” “Le Fils de l’Etoile,” and “La Belle au bois dormant.”
