Opera Naples Unveils Cast for ‘La Traviata’
By David SalazarFlorida-based Opera Naples has announced the full cast for its upcoming production of “La Traviata.”
Starring in the role of Violetta Valéry will be soprano Leah Patridge. Tenor Dmitri Pittas will appear Alfredo while baritone Trevor Schheunemann will take on the role of Giorgio Germont.
The famed Verdi opera will be directed by Jeffrey Buchman.
The opera will be conducted by Ramón Tebar and is set to run between March 11 and 13, 2021 at Baker Park. Performances will take place outdoors with socially distanced seating.
The production will be presented as part of the company’s “Under the Stars” festival, which takes place between March 10-13 and features a recital with tenor Joseph Calleja as well as a symphonic concert performance of Bernstein’s “West Side Story.”
