Opera Naples has announced the addition of a recital featuring mezzo-soprano Samantha Hankey on April 7, 2026, at Moorings Presbyterian Church.

The mezzo will be joined by pianist Ramón Tébar.

“I have been following Samantha’s career for some years now, and she is an artist I wanted very much to perform with. When I found out that she spent many summers in Naples during childhood, I couldn’t resist adding a performance with her as soon as possible. I am very happy that she made herself available between her international engagements to perform in this recital,” Tebar said in an official press release.

Hankey is a world-renowned artists who has appeared with such companies as the Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, Royal Opera House, Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Carnegie Hall, and the Kennedy Center.

The performance begins at 7:00 p.m.
