Opera Memphis Unveils 2026-27 Season

Opera Memphis announces its 2026-27 season.

Opera Memphis’ “30 Days of Opera” returns for its 15th year with free performances at locations across Memphis.

Performance Dates: Sept. 1 – 30, 2026


Opera Memphis celebrates its 70th Anniversary with an evening of vocal performances at Overton Park Shell.

Performance Date: Oct. 10, 2026


Giuseppe Verdi’s “Rigoletto” is presented in collaboration with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra at Cannon Center for the Performing Arts. The production is sung in Italian with English surtitles.

Performance Date: Oct. 24, 2026


The Handorf Company Artists perform in “Opera Goes to Broadway,” a program of musical theater selections.

Performance Date: Nov. 15, 2026


“Christmas Fiesta” is presented in collaboration with The Dixon Gallery and Gardens and Cazateatro.

Performance Date: Dec. 12, 2026


Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Pirates of Penzance” is presented at Germantown Performing Arts Center. The production is sung in English with English subtitles.

Performance Dates: Feb. 12 – 14, 2027


The Handorf Company Artists perform in “Voices of Tomorrow,” a program of works co-curated by the ensemble.

Performance Date: March 20, 2027


Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “La Finta Giardiniera” receives its regional premiere at the Morrow Lawn at The Dixon Gallery and Gardens. The production is sung in English.

Performance Dates: April 10, 11, & 17, 2027
