Opera Maine in Portland, Maine is set to present a new web series “Opera in ME.”

The behind-the-scenes program will be hosted by Robert Mellon and kicks off every Tuesday at 5 p.m. ET. The aim of the showcase is to present audiences with different aspects of the opera world.

The opening installment, which will be released on April 7, 2020, will focus on Mellon’s own career with Opera Maine. The second installment will focus on how theatrical projections were implemented into “The Magic Flute.” This episode will spotlight Artistic Director Dona D. Vaughn and projection designer Alex Koch.

In the future, the program will place an emphasis on other performers, theater professionals, and other guests. Audiences will also get a chance to check out archival videos from past productions at Opera Maine.
