Opera Hong Kong to Present ‘Roméo et Juliette’ This May

Opera Hong Kong is set to present “Roméo et Juliette” as part of the French May Arts Fest.

The showcase, scheduled for May 10-12, 2024, will feature Chloé Chaume and Aurélie Jarjaye in the role of Juliette and Thomas Bettinger and Kevin Amiel as Romeo. Other cast members include Paul Gay, Yoann Dubruque, Jean-Fernand Setti, and Valentine Lemercier.

Arnaud Bernard directs and Roberto Gianola conducts the Opera Hong Kong Orchestra and Chorus. Warren Mok produces the opera.

The performances on May 10 and 11 will kick off at 7:30 p.m. The final show on May 12 is a matinee commencing at 3 p.m.
