Opera Holland Park Announces 2021 Season

Opera Holland Park has unveiled its 2021 season which will feature four total operas from the standard repertory.

The season is set to begin on June 1, 2021 with new productions of Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro,” Janacek’s “The Cunning Little Vixen,” and Mascagni “L’Amico Fritz.”

The company will also be reviving the 2018 staging of Verdi’s “La Traviata.”

Casting and performance dates for these productions will be announced in October 2020.

This announcement comes after the company canceled its 2020 slate, which was set to feature productions of “Eugene Onegin,” “Rigoletto,” “The Merry Widow,” “Margot la Rouge,” and “The Pirates of Penzance.”  The company was set to open the 2020 season today, June 2, 2020.
