The Italian opera house is set to present a total of seven performances of the work from July 22 through August 13, with the July 22 performance reserving 400 seats for healthcare workers who helped in combatting the COVID-19 crisis.

The cast will include Davide Luciano in the title role, Giorgio Misseri as Conte d’Almaviva, Chiara Amarù and Miriam Albano alternating the role of Rosina, Marco Filippo Romano as Don Bartolo, Nicola Ulivieri as Don Basilio, and Francesca Benitez  as Berta. Roberto Gabbiani will conduct.

After Rossini’s masterpiece, the company is set to present a gala with Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov as well as “The Merry Widow.”
