Opéra de Paris to Stream ‘Beatrice di Tenda’ with Tamara Wilson & Quinn Kelsey

The Opéra de Paris is set to livestream Bellini’s “Beatrice di Tenda” on Feb. 15, 2024.

The opera will be broadcast on the company’s streaming platform and will star Tamara Wilson in the title role alongside Quinn Kelsey, Theresa Kronthaler, Pene Pati, Amitai Pati, and Taesung Lee.

Mark Wigglesworth conducts the Bellini rarity in a production by Peter Sellars.

The production marks the first time that “Beatrice di Tenda” is performed at the Paris Opera. Sellars staged the work in a steel-walled palace, evoking the domination and surveillance exercised by a ruthless dictatorship.

“Beatrice di Tenda” runs through March 7, 2024.
