Ópera de París Cancels Performance of ‘Cendrillon’ Due to COVID-19

The Ópera de París has canceled its April 4 performance of “Cendrillon” due to COVID-19.

The company issued a statement noting “Following several positive COVID-19 test results among the artists, we are unfortunately obliged to cancel the performance of Cendrillon scheduled on Monday 4th April 2022 at 7:30 pm. We wish to apologize to spectators of this performance.”

As a result, audience members will be able to exchange their tickets for another performance date of the opera, according to availability.

“Cendrillon” is set to return to the stage on April 7 with a cast that includes Tara Erraught, Daniela Barcellona, Anna Stephany, Kathleen Kim, Charlotte Bonnet, Marion Lebègue, and Lionel Lhote.

The opera runs through April 28, 2022.
