The Opera de Paris has announced cast changes for its upcoming concert performances of The Ring Cycle.

The company announced that Jonas Kaufmann and Eva-Maria Westbroek will no longer perform the roles of Siegmund and Sieglinde and as a result, they will be replaced by Lise Davidsen and Stuart Skelton.

Davidsen recently performed her first Sieglinde at the Deutsche Oper Berlin while Skelton is known for his portrayal of Siegmund, having performed it at the  Metropolitan Opera and Royal Opera House to great acclaim.

They will join a cast that includes Günther Groissböck, Iain Paterson, Ricarda Merbeth,  Martina Serafin, and Ekaterina Gubanova, among others.

The Ring Cycle opens on Nov. 23 and runs through Dec. 6. All performances will be audio-recorded.
