The Amigos Canarios de la Ópera – Ópera de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has announced the operas for the 2024 season.

The season will include five operas at the Teatro Pérez Galdós from the Italian and French repertoire.

The 2024 season will open with Puccini’s famed “Tosca” featuring Piotr Beczala and George Gagnidze.

There will also be a production of Puccini’s “La bohème” with Arturo Chacón Cruz and Claudia Pavone.

Poulenc’s “Dialogues des Carmélites,” which was previously announced will be replaced by “Il Matrimonio segreto” with Rubén Amoretti and Aitana Sanz.

Donizetti’s famed Bel Canto opera “Roberto Devereux” will star Yolanda Auyanet, Iván Ayón Rivas, and Roman Burdenko.

Verdi’s “Nabucco” will close the season with Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar and Ekaterina Semenchuck.
