The Opera Crown, Tbilisi International Voice Competition has announced its 5th edition.

The competition, which will take place from Nov. 8 to 13, 2026, at the Tbilisi Opera House, offers contestants from all over the world the best and most welcoming atmosphere to perform at their very best.

The Competition is open to opera singers at the start of their professional career and aims at discovering and facilitating the promotion of young talented singers.

The competition will feature a panel of top opera professionals – artistic and casting directors from famous opera houses, as well as the best artist managers.

This year’s jury will include Badri Maisuradze, Artistic Director of the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theatre, baritone Carlos Álvarez, Teatro alla Scala’s Casting Director Sebastian Schwarz, Teatro Colón, Buenos Aires Opera Director Andres Rodriguez, Opéra national du Capitole, Toulouse’s Artistic Director Christophe Ghristi, Hungarian State Opera, Budapest’s Director’s Szilveszter Ókovács, Prague National Theatre Opera’s Artistic Director Per Boye Hansen, Askonas Holt’s Fabiana Dalpaiz, TACT Artists Management’s Sofia Rukin, and IMG Artists’ Mattia Campetti.
