Xabier Anduaga, Asmik Grigorian, Piotr Beczala, Ermonela Jaho, Ludovic Tezier Among Opera Awards’ Reader’s Choice Nominees

The Opera Awards have announced the Reader’s Choice Nominees.
The category which is decided entirely by public vote, saw Xabier Anduaga, Asmik Grigorian, Ekaterina Bakanova, Sara Blanch, Piotr Beczala, Ermonela Jaho, Ludovic Tezier, and Arturo Chacon-Cruz nominated.
This is the first category announced from the annual awards. The full list of nominees will be announced at a later date.
This year the Opera Awards will take place at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich on Oct. 2, 2024.
Previous Reader’s Choice winners have included Nadine Sierra, Michael Spyres, Jamie Barton, Sonya Yoncheva, Pretty Yende, Juan Diego Flórez, Jonas Kaufmann, Alexandra Kurzak, Ermonela Jaho, and Joseph Calleja.
