Olga Peretyatko-Mariotti Announces New Project For Sony Classical

Olga Peretyatko-Mariotti has announced a new recording of Fauré works.

The soprano took to Instagram and shared a photo of her recording session stating “We just finished our beautiful project for @sony.classical with different, also unknown, music of #gabrielfauré, I was part of it with 5 songs, that were specially orchestrated for this occasion! And to be able to do it in #goetheanum !!! Magic!!!! The whole CD with wonderful @sinfonieorchesterbasel#balthasarneumannchor, and great Maestro #ivorbolton will be VERY SPECIAL! Can’t wait to know the release date! Stay tuned!”

There are no details of what pieces Peretyatko-Mariotti will perform on the album.

The new album marks her fifth project with Sony Classical. Her debut album for the company came in 2011 following it up in 2014 with Arabesque. In 2015 she released Rossini and this past year, she released “Russian Light” which OperaWire called “An Immaculate album.”

Peretyatko-Mariotti is scheduled to begin her 2017-18 season with “La Traviata” at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and at the Vienna state Opera. She is also scheduled for “L’Occasione fa il ladro” at the Royal Opera House in Muscat and “Il Turco in Italia” at the Bayerische Staatsoper.
