Obituary: Soprano Anne Magouët Passes Away

The soprano studied literature and viola and later began singing at the Conservatoire National de Région de Nantes where she obtained gold medals in singing, early music, lyrical art and an improvement prize in singing.
Following her studies, she went on to perform with such ensembles as Stradivaria, Les Traversées Baroques, les Ombres, Concerto Soave, and la Grande Ecurie. She was well known for performing Renaissance and contemporary music and collaborated regularly with jazz musicians, including David Chevallier, Alban Darche, Dominique Pifarély, Marc Ducret, and Laurent Dehors.
Throughout her career, Magouët recorded numerous albums including works by Bach.
