Núria Rial, Benjamin Bruns & Anna Prohaska Highlight Konzerthaus Berlin’s June Reopening

The Konzerthaus Berlin has announced that it will reopen its doors for live audiences in June 2021.

For the purpose of this article we will focus only on vocal performances.

Spanish soprano Núria Rial will perform Joseph Haydn’s “Berenice che fai” and Mahler‘s Symphony No. 4 alongside conductor Iván Fischer.

Performance dates: June 4-5, 2021

Christoph Eschenbach conducts the La Fura dels Baus’ production of Weber’s “Der Freischütz.” The opera stars Anna Prohaska, Jeanine de Bique, Benjamin Bruns, Christof Fischesser, Franz Hawlata, Viktor Rud, Mikhail Timoshenko, Tijl Faveyts, Isabelle Vosskühler, Bianca Reim, Christina Bischoff, and Heike Peetz.

Performance date: June 18, 2021

Berlin’s opera houses and concert venues have been allowed to reopen after seven-month-long hiatus due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic circumstances. The current seven-day incidence in Berlin stands at 33.
