The North Shore Symphony Orchestra announced its 2023-24 season, which will feature one vocal performance.

At the heart of the organization’s 69th anniversary season will be “Bohemian Rhapsodies,” a concert featuring Smetana’s “The Moldau,” but also Mahler’s Fourth Symphony in G Major. The soloist for the latter piece will be soprano Stefanie Izzo.

The showcase is slated for Feb. 10, 2024 at Adelphi PAC starting at 8 p.m.

This is the third of five concerts on the season for the North Shore Symphony. The organization will also perform an “Evening with the Pops” on Oct. 6, 2023, as well as other concerts featuring works by Brahms, Bruch, and Beethoven, among others. The season officially ends on June 14, 2024 with a performance featuring the winner of the Young Artist Competition.
