Norfolk & Norwich Festival Announces 2025 Slate

Norfolk & Norwich Festival has announced the first performances of its 2025 slate. Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

Mezzo-soprano Lotte Betts-Dean performs works by Scelsi, Feldman, and Schwitters, as well as pieces that “draw on medieval plainchant, experimental electronica, and techno, including works by Mathis Saunier, Stuart MacRae and new additions to the Voice Electric programme by Sara Glojnarić, Georges Aperghis, and Cassandra Miller.”

The mezzo has participated in over 30 world premieres and has worked alongside such organizations as the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, State Opera of South Australia, Manchester Collective, Opera Holland Park, Festival Musica Sacra Maastricht, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Aldeburgh, Swaledale, Llandeilo and Petworth Festivals, Britten Pears Festival of New, West Cork Chamber Music Festival, Festival Llums D’Antiga Barcelona, and the Australian Festival of Chamber Music, many many others.
