By David Salazar

The Connecticut Virtuosi are headed to Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall for a concert entitled “The Seasons.”

Scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, the showcase will feature Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” as well as Bach’s Concert for Two Violins in d minor BWV 1043. Sandwiched between those famed violin concerts are songs by Nora Fox. Fox will perform her own songs.

Music director and violinist Adrian Sylveen will solo in the Vivaldi and Bach; Brunilda Myftaraj will join him for the Bach.

The concert is presented as part of the Virtuosi’s 25th Anniversary celebration.

Fox has performed with such companies as the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Goodspeed Opera House, and also appeared in the Broadway revival of “The Sound of Music.” She will also interpret Cleopatra in Handel’s “Giulio Cesare” as part of Adrian Sylveen’s Opera Festival in Greve in Chianti, Italy.
