The Metropolitan Opera has announced a cast change for its final performance of “Elektra.”

The company noted that Rebecca Nash will sing the title role in tonight’s performance, replacing Nina Stemme, and Wendy Bryn Harmer will sing Chrysothemis, replacing Lise Davidsen.

Nash made her Met debut and role debut last week during the performance on April 12. She has performed at the Seattle Opera, Arizona Opera, Calgary Opera, Central City Opera, and Wiener Staatsoper. Her repertoire includes the music of Puccini, Strauss, and Wagner.

Harmer has performed at the Metropolitan Opera in productions of “Die Zauberflöte,” “War and Peace,” “Parsifal,” “Die Ägyptische Helena,” and “Jenufa.” She has also performed at the Palm Beach Opera, Opera Boston, and the Utah Opera Festival.

The two join Michaela Schuster, Stefan Vinke, and Greer Grimsley. Donald Runnicles conducts.
