Opernhaus Zürich has announced that Nina Stemme’s Liederand concert has been canceled.

The concert which was set to be presented on Oct. 31, 2024, was canceled as Stemme is ill.

The company noted, “Tickets already purchased will be automatically canceled and credited to the customer’s account.”

Stemme next returns to the Metropolitan Opera for a production of “Die Frau ohne Schatten” and sings the role of Isolde in “Tristan und Isolde” in Stockholm. She also tours Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder around the world with stops in Vienna, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Stockholm, and Cologne. Stemme also performs at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and Cleveland this season.

Zürich’s next recital will star Juan Diego Flórez on Dec. 4, 2024.
