San Francisco Opera’s 2025 Summer Season is set to open with Puccini’s “La Bohème.”

The company will revive the production by John Caird, and Ramón Tebar will conduct the San Francisco Opera Orchestra.

The company will showcase two different casts. The first will showcase Pene Pati as Rodolfo, Karen Chia-ling Ho as Mimì, Andrea Carroll as Musetta, and Lucas Meachem as Marcello.

The second cast will include Evan LeRoy Johnson as Rodolfo, Nicole Car as Mimì, Brittany Renee as Musetta, and Will Liverman as Marcello.

The casts are rounded out by Bogdan Talos as Colline, Samuel Kidd as Schaunard, and Dale Travis as Benoit/Alcindoro.

“La Bohème” is set to be performed between June 3 and 21, 2025. There will be a livestream on June 10, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. Pacific.
