Nicky Spence, Sally Matthews, Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha Lead Royal Philharmonic’s 2025-26 Season

The Royal Philharmonic has announced its 2025-26 season.

Mahler, Bernstein, and Puccini will be conducted by Vasily Petrenko. The Philharmonia chorus will be showcased.

Sir John Rutter celebrates his birthday with soloists Melanie Marshall and Jonathan Brown.

Performance Dates: Nov. 5, 2025


Daniel Hyde conducts Poulenc’s “Gloria” with Sally Matthews. The program also includes music by Boulanger, Barber, Bizet, and Debussy.

Performance Dates: Nov. 11, 2025


Antony Hermus and Jess Dandy team up for Elgar, Wagner, and Mendelssohn.

Performance Dates: Nov. 25, 2025


Sir John Rutter conducts The King’s Singers and The Bach Choir for a Christmas concert.

Performance Dates: Dec. 4, 2025


Vasily Petrenko conducts Ustvolskaya, Beethoven, and Shostakovich. Yuriy Yurchuk and Benjamin Grosvenor are the soloists.

Performance Date: Feb. 3, 2026


Jordan de Souza conducts Anne-Marie MacIntosh and Nicky Spence in a Valentine’s Day Opera Gala.

Performance Date: Feb. 14, 2026


Kevin John Edusei conducts Strauss’ “Four Last Songs” with Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha. The program also includes music by Moussa and Beethoven.

Vasily Petrenko conducts the Philharmonia Chorus and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in music by Wagner, Mozart, and Taneyev.
