Nicholas Brownlee, Jennifer Feinstein, Chaz’men Williams-Ali, Katherine Powers Headline LAO At Home

The Los Angeles Opera has announced its schedule of streaming options for the week starting on August 21, 2020.

First up will be “Shakespeare Sings” featuring soprano Katherine Powers as she talks to Shakespeare scholar Lorenzo González about Elizabethan history and performs two pieces from Verdi’s “Falstaff.”

Streaming Date: Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020 at 2 p.m. PDT 

Next up will be a Living Room Recital featuring bass-baritone Nicholas Brownlee, mezzo-soprano Jennifer Feinstein, and tenor Chaz’men Williams-Ali. They will be joined by pianist Aurelia Andrews.

Streaming Date: Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020 at 12 p.m. PDT

The week ends with another Living Room Recital, this one featuring members of the company’s young artist program. They will showcase songs from musicals such as “Show Boat,” “My Fair Lady,” and “Kismet.”

Streaming Date: Friday, Sept. 4, 2020 at 4 p.m. PDT
