New York Philharmonic Board Member & Arts Figure Roy ‘Trey’ Farmer II Arrested

New York Philharmonic board member Roy “Trey” Farmer III has been arrested for alleged possession of child pornography.

The prominent figure in the arts was arrested on March 22 following investigations by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit. According to reports, the unit received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an individual in Mercer County uploaded an item that portrayed child sexual abuse material. Farmer was identified and members of the Mercer County Tactical Response Team, with assistance from the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations Trenton, executed a search warrant at an apartment in Princeton.

Throughout his career, Farmer has served on the boards of the Classic Chamber Concerts, Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, London Symphony Orchestra, Naples Music Club, Opera Naples, and the StayInMay Festival. He currently serves on the board of the New York Philharmonic.
