The New York Philharmonic is set to present its first Pride concert.

“Celebrate Pride!” features music by composers such as Leonard Bernstein and Caroline Shaw and luminaries of Broadway and the American songbook. The New York City Gay Men’s Chorus, directed by John J. Atorino joins the evening while Ted Sperling conducts the Philharmonic.

The New York Philharmonic’s “Celebrate Pride!” concert will be held annually. Next year, Marin Alsop will lead the program.

The concert is scheduled for June 16, at the Wu Tsai Theater, David Geffen Hall at the Lincoln Center. “Celebrate Pride!” will begin at 7:30 pm.
